Two gang members were arrested and a third was being sought Friday in connection with the Easter Sunday slaying of a Valencia man and the attempted killing of another man, police said.

Manuel Trujillo, 21, of Sun Valley, was arrested by San Fernando police and Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies on suspicion of murder in the slaying of Arthur Jensen Sr., 32, who was shot to death as he walked along Kalisher Street with his 15-year-old son.

Authorities said Salvador Cazares, 23, also of Sun Valley, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder for a gang-related shooting that occurred in the 8500 block of Glenoaks Boulevard in Sun Valley, about four hours after Jensen was killed. The intended victim in that shooting was not hit, San Fernando police said.

Both suspects are being held without bail in the city jail.

Detectives investigating Jensen’s slaying discovered that shell casings found at the scene matched those found near the shooting on Glenoaks Boulevard.

Police are seeking the public’s help in finding Arnold Castaneda Sandoval, 22, sought for questioning in connection with both shootings.

Police said a man fitting Sandoval’s description was seen fleeing Kalisher Street soon after Jensen was killed.

All three men are members of the Vineland Boys gang, police said.
