Sounds of Success: The Los Angeles Music Network, an association created to promote career advancement, continued education and communication among record industry professionals, is offering a program called “Records, Technology & Consumers” at 6:30 tonight at the Hotel Sofitel in Los Angeles.

The program will address strategies for promoting, distributing and selling music in the digital age, the creation of new business models to address the convergence of music and technology, and new income streams from these models.

Speakers include musician Thomas Dolby; Geffen Records Director of Technology Jim Griffin; and Wendy Hafner, director of music marketing at Intel.
