SRS Labs Inc.: The Santa Ana licenser of 3D audio technology reported that net income for the third quarter gained 71% to $1.1 million, or 11 cents a share, from $632,609, or 7 cents a share, a year ago. Revenue rose 67% to a record $2.5 million from $1.5 million. Net income for the nine-month period increased to $2.6 million, or 25 cents a share, from $1.1 million, or 14 cents a share, for the same period a year ago. Revenue grew 89% to $6.8 million from $3.6 million.
