Police Hold 2 More Bounty Hunters in Murder Case
Police arrested two more bounty hunters Wednesday and charged three others already in custody with murder in the deaths of a couple gunned down in their home.
The bounty hunters had broken the door down looking for a bail jumper from California, and instead killed a man and his girlfriend in what police have called a case of mistaken identity. They say the bail jumper had never lived in the house.
Brian Jay Robbins and Ronald Eugene Timms were arrested Wednesday.
Michael Sanders, 40, and colleagues David Brackney, 45, and Brackney’s son, Matthew, were charged with second-degree murder, aggravated assault and unlawful imprisonment.
Authorities said the bounty hunters, wearing ski masks and body armor, killed Christopher Foote and his girlfriend, Spring Wright, in the attack on Sunday.
