A man thought to have connections with organized crime has been added to the FBI’s list of 10 most-wanted fugitives, the bureau announced Saturday.

Paul Ragusa, 26, was charged in 1996 in New York with racketeering, armed bank robbery, armed robbery, attempted armed robbery and arson. The charges include a June 1993 armored car robbery attempt in which two retired New York police officers were shot. One was seriously wounded.

The crimes occurred over a four-year period in the New York borough of Queens, the FBI said.
