Javelin Signs Distributor

Javelin Systems Inc. said it will provide its NexDisplay touch-screen computers to Omron Systems for distribution in the United States and Canada under a multiyear agreement valued at more than $5 million.

Javelin said the agreement also covers future sales of its next-generation touch-screen computers.

Omron Systems, a unit of Japan-based Omron Corp. supplies retail information systems to the hospitality and general retail markets.

Irvine-based Javelin Systems develops and sells touch-screen point-of-sale computers primarily for the food service industry.
