OUTLOOK
With 14 returning starters, Bolsa Grande should improve on last season’s 4-5-1 record, but it probably won’t be enough to break the team into the league’s top three. Baughman returns as a junior to lead the Matadors. Baughman completed 143 of 309 passes for 2,414 yards, 24 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. Baughman’s favorite target, Baeder, is also back. Baeder caught 57 passes for 771 yards (13.5 average). Graves’ main concern is inexperience and a lack of depth at running back. Newcomers Gilson and Yann will share time at tailback.
