City May Donate Computers to School
Council members are considering donating 30 used computers from City Hall to a local elementary school.
The City Council will decide Monday whether to sell the equipment for about $5,000 or help Barcelona Hills School set up a computer lab.
City officials recently began replacing about 100 older computers in City Hall. The first 36 computers to be replaced were sold for $5,940.
Barcelona Hills Principal Susan MacConaghy found out the computers were available and sent the city a letter asking that they be donated to the school.
The 6 p.m. meeting will take place at City Hall, 25909 Pala. Information: (714) 470-3000.
