Prescott Bush to Speak on China
Prescott Bush, elder brother of former President George Bush and chairman of the U.S.-China Chamber of Commerce, will speak about international trade at a dinner Wednesday in Ventura.
The “Destination: China” dinner is one of two local events kicking off the chamber’s October trade mission to China and Hong Kong.
Bush, who has advised Fortune 500 companies on business and market strategies in China, will discuss business issues between the United States and the Asian economic powerhouse in speeches Wednesday in Ventura and at a 4:30 p.m. reception Tuesday at Santa Barbara’s University Club.
The Ventura dinner is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at the Four Points Hotel--formerly the Harbortown Marina Resort.
