Re “Hooked Behind Stone Walls,” editorial, Sept. 10: If drug trafficking and abuse cannot be controlled within our prisons, how can anyone ever expect to win the “war on drugs” in a free society that stretches from the Atlantic to the Pacific? Maybe someone should ask our drug czar, Gen. Barry McCaffrey. Just wondering.
