Home-Buying Help

I think that giving police officers help in buying homes in the communities they service (Sept. 17) is a wonderful idea. As a teacher I would love to see that same kind of community support offered to other groups, such as teachers.

The same rationale used for police offers applies to teachers. Teachers living in the communities they teach can better understand and serve the needs of the community.
