Cartoonist Michael Ramirez Joins The Times
Pulitzer Prize-winning political cartoonist Michael Ramirez joins The Times today. His work will be a regular feature of The Times’ editorial pages, appearing three times a week on the opposite editorial page.
Ramirez comes to The Times from the Memphis Commercial Appeal, where he won the Pulitzer in 1994 and the Sigma Delta Chi and H.L. Mencken awards in 1996. He is a Southern Californian who attended UC Irvine and worked for some small newspapers in the Southland before moving to Memphis in 1990.
