Spotlight: Apria Chief Leaves Struggling Company
Apria Healthcare Group Inc. said Steven T. Plochocki has quit as president and chief operating officer amid the Costa Mesa-based home-health-care company’s struggle to boost its flagging returns and find a buyer. Apria said Plochocki resigned to pursue other interests. Chairman and CEO Jeremy M. Jones will assume his duties until a successor is named. Apria’s stock sunk to its lowest point in six months Monday before gaining 50 cents to close at $13.75 on the New York Stock Exchange.
