Sandbags Available for City Residents
Residents preparing for rain and potential flooding from El Nino can get free sandbags at the City Corporation Yard, 17371 Gothard St.
Sandbags are available only to city residents, who must show proof of residence with a California driver’s license or a utility bill.
Residents must bring a shovel and will be responsible for filling, transporting and disposing of the sandbags.
The Corporation Yard is open from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
