ORANGE COUNTY EARNINGS

Biolase Technology Inc.: The San Clemente provider of medical, dental and surgical products reported a net loss of $2.8 million, or 21 cents a share, for 1997, compared with a net loss of $2.5 million, or 21 cents a share, for 1996. Revenue more than doubled to $1.8 million from $691,829. The company did not report fourth-quarter results.
