Riley Takes Step Toward Qualifying for Senior Nationals

Sarah Riley of the L’equipe Diving Club of Irvine advanced to the second round of the Senior National Diving qualifier competition Friday in Federal Way, Wash.

Also advancing in three-meter competition were teammates Hunter Schafer and Chris Reed. The top five competitors in each event qualify for the Senior National Championships, April 13-19 in Indianapolis.

Erica Sorgi of Mission Viejo, who has already qualified for Senior Nationals in two events, begins competition in the 10-meter platform today.
