1 Killed, 2 Wounded in Apparent Drive-By Attack in Hollywood
One man was killed and two others wounded in an apparent drive-by shooting at a Hollywood strip mall Sunday night, Los Angeles police said.
Shots rang out about 9:15 p.m. near the corner of Sunset Boulevard and Western Avenue, Police Sgt. Mark Green said.
Television stations reported that suspects in the shooting were arrested after a chase that ended at a Ventura Freeway offramp near Griffith Park, but police declined late Sunday to say whether arrests had been made.
Further details were not immediately available.
