Pleion Settles Dispute With Autodesk

Pleion Corp., a modular furniture company, paid $50,000 to settle a dispute over an alleged software copyright violation, Autodesk Inc. in San Rafael said Monday.

Autodesk, which supplies PC design software and PC multimedia tools, said the companies settled amicably and quickly.

Nevertheless, Autodesk said the settlement added to the more than $30 million in damages that it has won against some 200 companies over the last 10 years for illegal use of its software.
