In today’s life where so many people are struggling just to get by, it’s a little hard for someone to win $16.9 million and say that they really don’t need the extra loot.

If I had been fortunate enough to win, I would have donated a large portion to UCLA for research on diseases and also donate to my church.

My son is 34 years old and is dying from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, and UCLA is helping all it can by getting him into clinical trials for ALS.

With people today we need to think how a comment like that can affect others.
