These planets, the two brightest in the sky, will apppear low int he southeast. The best time to look is between 5 and 5:30 a.m., but they remain visible until after 6 a.m. in the brightening sky. Venus is the brighter of the two. The thin crescent moon joins them on the morning of the 23rd.
