Medstone International Inc.: The Aliso Viejo manufacturer of medical devices reported that net income for the first quarter rose 11% to $956,116, or 18 cents a share, from $860,454, or 16 cents a share, for the same quarter of 1997. Revenue was up 18% to $5.9 million from $5 million.
