Chief to Hold Town Meetings on Police Accountability Plan
Police Chief Bernard C. Parks will headline a 5 p.m. town hall meeting today with the public. After sitting through a presentation of the new police accountability system known as FASTRAC, residents can speak to Parks about police services in their communities.
The Kedren Community Health Center at 710 East 111th Place will host the gathering. Joining Parks will be command officers from the Southeast, Southwest, 77th Street and Harbor police districts.
Other town hall meetings are being planned, officials said.
