Kofax Image Products Tallies Record Figures for Quarter, Year

Kofax Image Products Inc., an Irvine-based supplier of software and scanner enhancement products, reported record results for the fiscal fourth quarter and year ended June 30.

Fourth-quarter net income increased 55% to $892,000, or 16 cents a share, from $576,000, or 14 cents a share, for the same quarter of 1997. Revenue rose 17% to $8.9 million from $7.6 million. Net income for the fiscal year was up 48% to $3.1 million, or 62 cents a share, from $2.1 million, or 52 cents a share, for the same period of 1997. Revenue advanced 14% to $33.4 million from $29.3 million.
