Auto Safety for Kids

Recently my 2-year-old son spent a weekend with his grandmother. When we went to pick him up, he informed us that Grandma did not make him sit in his car seat. She said it was just too hot and she was not going far. I reminded her of a 2-year-old who had recently died because she was not in her car seat and explained that if she was going to take care of my son, she would use his car seat.

I am expecting another child in January. I cannot imagine how painful it is to lose a child. I am not a perfect parent. But I am sick and tired of children dying because parents are too lazy or too naive to know about car seats and air bags.

There are so many crazy things going on out there in this world today. Let’s as parents try to take control of the few things we can.
