Update--The Zodiac lost to the Jaguars, 4-1, on May 13 in Salinas, but the Jaguars’ roster has since changed dramatically. Because of financial problems, the Jaguars have cut 12 players from their roster and replaced them with amateurs. California, once in first place in the A-League’s Pacific Division, has lost 10 in a row and fallen into last place. The Zodiac, third in the Pacific Division, will be without leading scorer Eddie Soto, who is playing in a beach soccer tournament overseas.
