There’s finally life at the still-under-construction Corona del Mar Plaza, where Orange County’s first Bristol Farms grocery store and Sur La Table kitchen equipment shop opened Aug. 5. Two to three more stores will open each month until all the vacancies are filled, said spokeswoman Lisa Emerzian, with Hollis & Associates in Irvine, which manages the center.

The ongoing construction has not deterred customers, she said. “They’ve had a great response at both stores,” she said.

Still under construction are Cowboy Seafood Restaurant, Bahama Cafe Emporium, Zany Brainy and Peet’s Coffee & Teas.
