Agribusiness Course Offered in Fall
Students from designated Latino-serving institutions are being recruited for the developing field of agribusiness.
The Rancho Santiago Community College District and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, in association with the United Agribusiness League, have worked to create a course at Santa Ana College designed to introduce students to the marketing, merchandising, sales, management and finance opportunities in agriculture.
“The situation is that not many people are becoming involved in agribusiness,” said Glen Doolittle, the college’s international business coordinator. “So this is a great opportunity to get information to students on a really big industry.”
Classes at Santa Ana College begin Aug. 24. Information: (714) 564-6015.
