Seminar Targets Care for Kids in Crisis
Teachers and administrators wanting to better help children deal with emotional problems can attend a seminar Wednesday, hosted by Concordia University.
The seminar, “Care in Times of Crisis,” is designed to teach caregivers how to deal with children affected by the shock of a natural disaster, death, abuse, divorce, violence and suicide.
Bereavement care experts and authors Ann Eissfield and Richard Armstrong will be among the presenters.
