Cal Lutheran Program on Contracting Approved
A professional certificate program offered by Cal Lutheran University’s Office of Continuing and Professional Education has been approved by the National Contract Management Assn.
The business contracting certificate is offered as “an alternative to the traditional government contracting programs and provides participants with the theoretical foundation and practical skills necessary to carry out all aspects of business contracting.”
The four-course program, which compares commercial and government contract processes, covers the legal aspects of business contracts, negotiations, contract documents and contract administration.
Four new professional certificate programs also will be offered beginning in the fall. They are Basic Competency in Multimedia; Information Technology; Information Systems; and Practical Skills for Sales Success.
