* Corte Madera-based Restoration Hardware Inc. reported a loss for its fiscal second quarter ended Aug. 1 of $555,000, or 6 cents per diluted share, compared with a loss of $607,000, or 15 cents, a year ago. For the quarter, the retailer posted sales of $39.7 million versus $15.5 million a year ago.
