Donna Jean McCulloch died Thursday at her home in Ventura after a lengthy illness. She was 50.
McCulloch was born March 8, 1948, in Long Beach, and moved to Ventura in 1982.
She was a teacher at several grade levels, relatives said. She last worked as a special-education teacher at Fremont Intermediate School in Oxnard.
McCulloch is survived by two sons, Kenney McCulloch of Los Angeles and Kyle McCulloch of Ventura; her mother, Frances Messer of Ventura; a sister, Diane Dodds of Kernville; two nephews; and a niece.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Ventura, with burial to follow at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park in Ventura.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Ventura or the National Brain Tumor Foundation in San Francisco.
