Chiropractor Pleads Not Guilty in Tax Case

Share

A chiropractor who operated clinics in Westminster and Pomona has pleaded not guilty to two counts of filing false income tax returns in 1991 and 1992, according to the U.S. attorney’s office.

The federal indictment alleges that Loc Bao Nguyen, 35, failed to report about $650,000 he received for chiropractic services over the two-year period, Assistant U.S. Atty. Alka Sagar said.

The indictment comes as part of an ongoing investigation by the criminal investigation division of the Internal Revenue Service into alleged income tax violations by attorneys, doctors, administrators and others in connection with the filing of personal injury claims.
