Council Extends City Manager’s Contract
The City Council voted unanimously to renew the contract of City Manager Paul Connolly.
Mayor Greg Hill credited Connolly with several accomplishments, including the creation of the city’s first strategic plan, successful efforts to attract new business and an improved tree maintenance program.
“On behalf of the City Council, I commend the tremendous progress and accomplishment during the last year with Paul’s experienced leadership,” Hill said.
Connolly’s contract was extended to August 1999.
