LAKE FOREST
The City Council may appoint a new mayor tonight. Peter Herzog has served as mayor the past year and is eligible to continue leading the council. Councilwoman Kathryn McCollough has not yet served as mayor but recently graduated from a League of California Cities training program for mayors. Council members Richard Dixon, Helen Wilson and Marcia Rudolph have served as mayor in past years. The council meets at 7 p.m. in chambers, 23161 Lake Center Drive, Suite 210.
