This year’s Super Seminar XXVII, an annual event only a few years old despite the Roman numerals in its name, was created for wine fans as an antidote to the football season. Take part in discussions, tastings and sneak previews of wines yet to be released. Jim Clendenen of Au Bon Climat, Dan Duckhorn of Duckhorn Vineyards and Jamie Davies of Schramsberg are a few of the wine experts expected. Tim and Mimi Spear of the new Central Coast winery Clos Mimi are scheduled to unveil their 1996 Syrah.
