Clinton’s Answers

Share

The silly Republican quest to impeach the president just keeps on getting sillier (“Clinton Tells House Panel He Did Not Lie, Obstruct Law,” Nov. 28). Not content that we have become the laughingstock of the world for allowing an extramarital affair to bring our government to a standstill, now the jocular duo of Reps. Henry Hyde (R.-Ill.) and Bob Barr (R.-Ga.) are having convicted perjurers testify before the House Judiciary Committee. Other than trying to further humiliate President Clinton, what relevance would this testimony have? It’s time for this kangaroo court to stop wasting our tax dollars, fold its tent and go home.

Our complete thanks go to Clinton for answering the 81 questions the way he did. It reassures our belief in him. If he had answered the questions in a truthful manner, the public would have been completely confused.

He is a liar.

If Congress cannot deal with a corrupt man and he does not resign, then any deal must include the provision that Clinton never be granted a pardon in any future legal judgment and that he lose his right to practice law in the U.S. forever.
