Police Seeking Tips in Gang Member’s Slaying
INGLEWOOD —
A 15-year-old boy was shot to death Tuesday evening as he walked along Crenshaw Boulevard in what police believe was a gang-related shooting.
Ronald Whitfield of Inglewood was shot several times when occupants of a black compact car stopped the vehicle and opened fire. Whitfield, identified as a gang member by Inglewood police, was pronounced dead at the scene.
