Wen Chang Is City’s 1st Chinese American Mayor

City Councilman Wen Chang has become the city’s first Chinese American mayor after being unanimously elected to the ceremonial position by his council colleagues.
Chang, a business owner, will hold the position for a year. He said his goals include making progress in economic development, reducing traffic congestion and planning for a new civic center.
