Mom too busy to drive you to the mall? Visit a 3-D virtual mall instead using the new CD-ROM “Fashion Trip.”

This interactive style and fashion program includes images of clothing and accessories from more than 30 teen-oriented brands, including Nicole Miller, Esprit, XOXO and Wet Seal. Users can mix and match from stores in the “Dressing Room” and create outfits by dropping items onto a virtual mannequin. Clothing is available for purchase online.

Not sure what to wear? Click on “Expert Advice” for a consultation. Enter details about body type, skin tone and age to create a profile, and the program delivers tips on health, clothing and cosmetics. There’s also a link to Fashion Trip’s own Webzine, which offers articles music videos and movie clips.
