* W. Central Avenue: Report of $80.45 worth of items lost from an auto at 11:50 p.m. Thursday in the 100 block.

* Hilltop Lane: Report of $475 worth of items lost from an auto at 3:04 p.m. Friday in the 200 block.

BUENA PARK

* Barbara Circle: Report of someone trying to break into a parked car through the passenger door at 9:12 a.m. Thursday in the 10000 block.

* Santa Irene Circle: A vandal used a key to scratch the front fender, back door and trunk of a parked auto, 10:45 a.m. Thursday in the 7000 block.

COSTA MESA

* Sea Breeze Drive: The front and rear passenger windows of a 1993 Toyota Paseo were reported smashed at 3:46 a.m. Dec. 1. Nothing was missing, but the cost of the damage was estimated at $500.

CYPRESS

* Cerritos Avenue: Two laser pens, valued at $25 apiece, were stolen in a petty theft reported at 8:57 a.m. Dec. 1 in the 5900 block.

* Brewster Court: A bracelet and Sony camcorder, worth a total of $1,000, were stolen in a residential burglary reported at 7:41 p.m. Dec. 1 in the 6600 block.

DANA POINT

* Acapulco Drive: Report of a traffic collision, injury unknown, at 3:59 p.m. Dec. 1 at Golden Lantern.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY

* Santa Isadora Street: A 1998 Volkswagen Golf was reported stolen from in front of a house at 2:55 p.m. Thursday in the 18400 block.

FULLERTON

* West Avenue: A blue Ford Thunderbird was reported stolen at 5:25 a.m. Dec. 1 in the 2100 block.

* East Orangethorpe Avenue: Vandalism was reported at 10:23 a.m. Dec. 1 in the 500 block.

GARDEN GROVE

* Homestead Drive: A man was arrested in connection with being a felon in possession of a firearm and a syringe Thursday in the 12100 block.

HUNTINGTON BEACH

* Ward Street: A resident reported that a pygmy palm tree in a terra cotta pot was stolen from his porch at 8:09 a.m. Thursday in the 19000 block.

* Brookhurst Street: A Chevrolet was stolen from in front of the Sea Shore Apartments at 11:48 a.m. Thursday.

IRVINE

* Orange Acres Lane: A prowler was reported entering the side yard of a residence at 4:13 p.m. Wednesday in the 14500 block. .

* Fortune Drive: A vehicle’s window was reported smashed in the Irvine Spectrum entertainment complex parking lot at 1:12 a.m. Dec. 1.

* Michelson Drive: A digital phone and its matching leather case were stolen from a briefcase at 11:09 a.m. Dec. 1 in the 4100 block.

LAGUNA BEACH

* San Nicholas Court: A man reported that someone broke into his and his mother’s vehicles at 12:13 p.m. Wednesday in the 300 block.

* Temple Terrace: A computer was stolen in a vehicle burglary reported at 3:01 p.m. Wednesday in the 1200 block.

* Laguna Hills Mall: Report of a robbery with an audible alarm at 10:46 p.m. Dec. 1 in the 24000 block.

* Stockport Street: Report of a robbery with an audible alarm at 10:17 a.m. Dec. 1 in the 25000 block.

* West La Habra Boulevard: A residential burglary was reported at 6:50 p.m. Dec. 1 in the 800 block.

* Amberwood Lane: Two separate reports of gunshots near the railroad tracks at 3:18 a.m. Wednesday in the 4500 block. Police could not locate anyone.

* Centerpointe Drive: A woman reported a co-worker forging her name on IRS documents at 7:50 p.m. Dec. 1.

* Howard Avenue: Police tried to track a bicycle that was reportedly stolen from a Hawaiian Gardens home at 12:53 p.m. Wednesday in the 3000 block.

MISSION VIEJO

* Los Alisos Boulevard: Report of reckless driving at 9:18 p.m. Dec. 1 at Madero.

* Alicia Parkway: Report of reckless driving at 6:20 p.m. Dec. 1 in the 24000 block.

* Crown Valley Parkway: Report of a robbery with an audible alarm at 3:47 p.m. Dec. 1 at Marguerite Parkway.

NEWPORT BEACH

* Sand Dollar Court: A cell phone was reported stolen from a 1992 Nissan Sentra at 5 p.m. Dec. 1.

* West Ocean Front at 23rd Street: Two hundred dollars in cash was taken from a wallet in the trunk of a 1989 Honda Accord about 4 p.m. Dec. 1.

ORANGE

* Calle Alta: Burglar alarm reported at 6:11 p.m. Dec. 1.

PLACENTIA

* Camarillo Street: Residential burglary reported Sunday at 8:18 a.m. Tools valued at $1,230 were stolen from garage.

* South Melrose Street: Report of minors in possession of marijuana at 1:11 p.m. Sunday in the 900 block. Four juveniles were cited.

* Avenida de la Estrella: Report of a traffic collision, injury unknown, at 7:52 a.m. Dec. 1 in the 600 block.

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO

* Paseo Santa Clara: Report of a robbery alarm at 10:52 p.m. Dec. 1 in the 26000 block.

SANTA ANA

* West Sunflower Street: Someone stole $2,700 in computer equipment from a store at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 1 in the 1600 block.

* Bristol Street: Someone broke into a locked vehicle and stole a cell phone at 6 p.m. Dec. 2 in the 3500 block.

SEAL BEACH

* Dogwood Avenue: A small Sago palm tree valued at $100 was reported stolen from a residence Saturday at 10:53 a.m.

STANTON

* Sycamore Avenue: An assault with a deadly weapon was reported at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the 10600 block. A man upset about the price of repair work shot the victim in the thigh, police said. The suspect left the scene in a white Chevrolet Astro van and remains at large. The suspect is a white male, 30 to 35, with a shaved head and mustache.

TUSTIN

* Bryan Avenue: A television set and clothing were reported stolen from a day care center at 10:33 a.m. Dec. 1 in the 1000 block .

* Del Amo Avenue: A U-Haul was found with fresh graffiti at 9:12 a.m. Dec. 1 in the 14600 block.

* Avocado Avenue: Report of a traffic accident at Yorba Linda Boulevard at 4:31 p.m. Thursday.
