Today, the White House defense continues. Testifying on the subject of prosecutorial standards for obstruction of justice and perjury:

* Thomas P. Sullivan is a trial lawyer and a former U.S. attorney for Illinois. He is a senior partner at Jenner & Block law firm, specializing in civil and criminal law, and has taught at Loyola Law School and the National Institute for Trial Advocacy.

* Richard J. Davis is a partner with the New York law firm of Weil, Gotschal & Manges. He was an assistant U.S. attorney in New York and former task force leader for the Watergate Special Prosecution Force.

* Edward S.G. Dennis Jr. is a Philadelphia attorney with Morgan, Lewis & Bockious. He has 15 years’ experience as a high-ranking Justice Department official.

* William F. Weld is a former two-term Republican governor of Massachusetts. He served with Hillary Rodham, the future first lady, as a staff lawyer on the House Judiciary Committee during its impeachment inquiry of Richard Nixon.

* Ronald Noble is an associate law professor at New York University Law School. He is a former undersecretary of the Treasury for enforcement, chief of staff in the Criminal Division of the Department of Justice and assistant U.S. attorney in Philadelphia.

* White House Counsel Charles F.C. Ruff will conclude the president’s case.
