LAGUNA HILLS
The City Council approved a new location for a skate park to be constructed on the property of a $22-million community center scheduled to open next year. Southern California Edison objected to the original location because it interfered with plans for additional power lines. The redesign, which places the skate park next to a roller hockey rink, could cost the city as much as $45,000. Edison has offered to provide some funding. Information: (949) 707-2600.
