Kennedy Nephew’s Statements Allowed

A judge ruled that statements made by a nephew of Robert F. Kennedy in which he allegedly implicates himself in a killing can be used by a grand jury investigating the crime. Michael Skakel is being investigated for the 1975 slaying of Martha Moxley, 15, of Greenwich, Conn. After the death, Skakel allegedly made admissions about it. Defense lawyers argued that the statements are protected by psychiatrist-patient privilege, but the judge said the therapy was for an alcohol problem.
