Blast in Coal Mine Kills 32, Injures 10

A gas explosion in an east China coal mine killed 32 miners and seriously injured 10 others, the Wenhui Daily said. The explosion occurred at the Changguang mine in Changxing county of Zhejiang province, the newspaper said. Provincial Communist Party Secretary Zhang Dejiang and Gov. Cai Songyue rushed to the scene. The cause was unknown.
