LAKE FOREST
The City Council tonight will consider final authorization to repair the Serrano Creek Park sidewalks that were damaged during last winter’s heavy rainstorms. The repairs will cost about $302,000, but city staff estimates that the state Office of Emergency Services will reimburse 75% of the costs.
Repairs will include 4,500 square feet of sidewalk, a wooden safety fence, and stabilization of the creek bank to prevent future damage. Construction could be completed by June.
The council meets at 7 p.m. in chambers, 21161 Lake Center Drive, Suite 210. Information: (949) 461-3400.
