ANAHEIM

* Pageant Street: Report of an auto theft in the 200 block at 7:09 a.m. Wednesday.

* Illinois Street: Report of a forced residential burglary in the 500 block at 10:41 a.m. Wednesday.

BREA

* Birch Street/Randolph Avenue: A driver headed north on Birch Street ran into another car after going through the red light; reported at 5:16 p.m. Thursday. No one was injured.

BUENA PARK

* Buena Park Mall: Police cited a juvenile on the upper level of JCPenney for truancy at 9:38 a.m. Thursday.

* El Monte Drive/El Verano Drive: A caller told police an orange paint ball hit a Ford van at 7:31 p.m. Thursday. There were no injuries or serious damage to the car.

COSTA MESA

* Buckingham Drive: A cellular phone was reported stolen from a 1994 Volkswagen Jetta that was left unlocked with the window partially open overnight in the 1100 block during the night Dec. 7.

CYPRESS

* Bloomfield Street: Someone entered a residence’s rear window in the 9000 block and stole $6,500 worth of jewelry in a burglary reported at 12:56 p.m. Dec. 8.

DANA POINT

* Seth Circle: Report of a robbery alarm in the 24000 block at 11:01 a.m. Dec. 8.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY

* Kalama River Avenue: A Long Beach man was arrested for petty theft at an electronics store Dec. 8 after he allegedly placed a $104 CD player in a box for a $79 player.

FULLERTON

* West Orangethorpe Avenue: Report of a robbery in the 2400 block at 7:28 a.m. Dec. 8.

* Williamson Avenue: Report of an auto burglary in the 900 block at 6:11 p.m. Dec. 8.

HUNTINGTON BEACH

* Clay Avenue at Holly Street: A businessman reported that two tanks were stolen from a job site at 9:40 a.m. Wednesday. One contained oxygen and the other acetylene.

* Warner Avenue: A motorist reported a hit-and-run that damaged his parked car in a public garage in the 7800 block at 9:22 a.m. Wednesday.

IRVINE

* Walnut Avenue: Someone broke into a vending machine at the Heritage Park Aquatics Center in the 4600 block; reported at 6:11 a.m. Sunday.

LAGUNA BEACH

* Queda Way: A man reported his cellular phone, briefcase and pager, valued at $650, were stolen from his 1997 Lexus in the 2100 block about 1 p.m. Wednesday.

* Stockport: Report of a robbery with an audible alarm in the 25000 block at 9:58 a.m. Dec. 8.

* Pacific Island Drive: Report of a robbery with an audible alarm in the 28000 block at 10:17 p.m. Dec. 8.

* E. Edgewater Avenue: Report of a package intended for UPS, valued at $103, stolen in the 400 block Dec. 8.

SANTA ANA

* Fairview Street: Police were seeking three people in connection with the theft of beer from a liquor store in the 2700 block at 1:58 a.m. Saturday.

SEAL BEACH

* Main Street: A 26-year-old man was arrested in connection with a hit-and-run accident Wednesday at 12:57 a.m. The victim was shaken but not seriously injured.

STANTON

* Beach Boulevard: Report of a burglary with an audible alarm in the 12000 block at 6:02 a.m. Dec. 8.

TUSTIN

* Amherst Aisle: Eight baseball cards worth about $19,000 were reported stolen from a residence in 1600 block at 2:55 a.m. Sunday. The cards have been recovered.

* Palm Avenue/Yorba Linda Boulevard: A car on Yorba Linda Boulevard veered too far to the right and hit another car; reported at 3:15 p.m. Thursday. No one was injured.
