Re “An Ecumenical ‘Prince of Egypt,’ ” Dec. 12: Apparently great care was taken in the making of the animated movie about Moses to avoid giving offense to Arabs in the portrayal of Ramses. Why? Wasn’t even one of the distinguished consultants aware of the fact that Ramses was not an Arab? The Arabs didn’t get to Egypt until the 7th century AD. Ramses lived and ruled almost 2,000 years before the Arab invasion.
