A local charitable foundation’s plans to build a community center in Pedregal, Mexico, are still on for the spring, Corazon officials announced at their general meeting Monday. Corazon is, however, considering a scaled-down project after the site was found to be unable to support the planned center. The organization is also collecting jackets and blankets for the poor. Donations can be delivered to the Corazon warehouse, 23400 Peralta Drive, Suite E, on Wednesdays from 6 to 9 p.m. and the first Sunday of the month from 1 to 4 p.m. Information: (949) 830-7494.
