L.A. Palisades 57, Edison 33--The Chargers made only 11 of 42 shots from the field and gave up runs of 14 and 11 points as Palisades advanced to the final against Marina at 8 p.m.

San Clemente 79, Fountain Valley 47--Kimberly Noble scored 19 points and had 10 rebounds to lead San Clemente in a consolation game. The Tritons went on a 26-6 run in the third quarter to pull away after leading by three at halftime. Debby Caine scored 13 points and had 13 assists and Colleen Turnbull scored 13 and had nine rebounds for San Clemente (9-5).

In the Chino Hills Ayala tournament:

Brea Olinda 84, Pomona Ganesha 37--Chelsea Trotter made all 13 of her shots from the field, scoring 31 points, and had nine rebounds to lead Brea Olinda to a second-round victory.

Foothill 55, Inglewood Morningside 34--Chavaughn Brown’s 22 points and 11 rebounds paced Foothill (11-0) in the second round. Kristen Mann had 18 for Foothill. Morningside is 11-2.

In the Cavalier Classic:

Corona del Mar 63, Los Amigos 58 (OT)--Lindsay Watanabe’s three-pointer early in overtime started a 9-1 run for Corona del Mar (7-6). Charlene Quon had 24 points and Jennifer Dickson had 20 points and 11 rebounds for Corona del Mar.

In the Garden Grove Christmas Classic:

Kennedy 46, Trabuco Hills 39--Kennedy’s Nicole Doi opened the game with three three-pointers, and teammate Melanie Nakamura scored 18 points for the Fighting Irish (7-6), who advanced to tonight’s semifinals against Anaheim.

In the Palm Desert tournament:

Ocean View 49, Palm Desert 27--Jasmine Leibel had 18 points, nine rebounds and three steals for Ocean View (7-6), which advanced to today’s championship game against Oxnard Channel Islands.

In the Santa Maria Righetti tournament:

University 50, Redwood 48--Fala Suiaunoa made seven three-pointers and scored 30 points in the consolation victory for University (7-6). In an earlier 57-53 first-round loss to Lakewood St. Joseph, Suiaunoa scored 33 points, including 12 on three-pointers, and had nine rebounds for the Trojans.

In the Savanna Rebel tournament:

Compton 73, La Quinta 45--Hazel Woods led all scorers with 30 points for Compton (9-5), which faces Cypress in the semifinals at 6 p.m. today.
