One of Fry’s many study guides, this offers several memory tricks that could be useful to everyone, not just students. That is, if you are willing to put in the time to learn over and over the rhyme schemes, visual associations and memory links he has outlined. This moves along quickly and definitely needs your full attention. Only attempt it with pen and paper in hand, not the steering wheel. The readers are articulate and pleasant, and the lessons are easy to follow.

Fry’s sense of humor is a great aid. Just wait until you hear Robert Frost’s poem “Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening” as sung to the peppy tune “Hernando’s Hideaway.”
